Mark Gorenberg, kwiry Board Member, Partner, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners

Mark has been a venture capitalist at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners since 1990, and has served as a board member for start-up and public software companies, including AdForce, HomeGrocer, NetDynamics and Scopus Technologies. Currently, he serves as a Director of Cenzic, Infopia, Lathian Systems, ontheFRONTIER, Omniture(NASDAQ: OMTR), Replay Solutions and Tizor Systems. Mark is also a member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Corporation (Board of Trustees).

Prior to joining Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Mark managed a number of new media areas and was a member of the original SparcStation I team at Sun Microsystems. Mark received a BSEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MSEE from the University of Minnesota, and an MS in Engineering Management from Stanford University.

James Yaffe, kwiry Advisory Board Member, Managing Partner, Endeavor Corporate Consulting

James Yaffe joined the Endeavor Talent Agency in 2001 to launch Endeavor Marketing Solutions - the Agency's corporate consulting division. Yaffe has built EMS by managing corporate clients (American Express, Live Nation, EA, Helio, Mattel). Yaffe also developed a brand lab within Endeavor that creates and develops new businesses, e.g. the PussyCat Dolls and Martha Stewart/KB Homes. Yaffe has been instrumental in helping Endeavor core clients expand their businesses globally, e.g. Scout Productions- Queer Eye for the Straight Guy- mobile platform, consumer products and a music label.

Before being recruited to Endeavor, Yaffe was investing and guiding several businesses in the media/technology space. Prior to guiding these ventures, Yaffe sold his former company TROON to XCEED in 1998 and served as EVP/Chief Strategic Officer. Yaffe started his executive career as Senior Vice President of BBDO where he was engaged in the launch and roll-out of the Apple Macintosh into multiple markets.

He is currently on the board of the Yaffe Center for Persuasive Communications at The University of Michigan and By Kids For Kids. In addition to kwiry, Yaffe is currently strategically advising companies that include Lost Art and Clean Well. Yaffe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, marketing and communications from the University of Michigan.

Craig Shapiro, kwiry Advisory Board Member, President, GOOD Digital

As President of GOOD Digital, Craig Shapiro works closely with GOOD Magazine and Reason Pictures to acquire and develop media for digital distribution. In addition, he oversees the company's investments in emerging technologies. Prior to GOOD Digital, Craig led content strategy and acquisition efforts at the mobile virtual network operator Helio, where he developed strategic partnerships and negotiated licensing arrangements with leading brands and entertainment properties such as ESPN, Facebook, FOX, Google, Wikipedia and YouTube. Craig also sat on the Board of Directors of the Mobile Marketing Association.

Before Helio, Craig was Vice President of Proteus Inc., a leading mobile technology developer. At Proteus, he was responsible for all new business development and revenue growth for the company which facilitated the successful sale of the company to Telitas Group in 2004. Craig received his B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis in Political Science and is originally from Washington, DC.

Dave Mathews, kwiry Advisory Board Member, Consumer Product Pundit

Dave Mathews is a consumer product expert specializing in the convergence of digital entertainment devices. In addition to holding more than two-dozen U.S. patents in products, commerce, machine readable code, networking and communications, Dave has appeared on more than 300 television shows.

In addition to his consulting and public speaking, Dave is also a regular contributor to Ziff Davis' PC Magazine, O'Reilly's Make and other consumer-tech publications as well as The Guidewire Report.

Dave has served as the Forward Thinker at Sling Media Inc, in San Francisco. There he identified consumer trends leading to the development and creation of the latest in digital media products. Previously, Dave was brought in by the former chairman of RadioShack as the Director, Product Innovation to develop their modern home strategy. Before joining RadioShack, Dave was co-founder of Digital:Convergence creator of the CueCat - a first-ever consumer barcode reader, distributed through Forbes, Wired, Parade and Nielsen Media publications. He also launched a TV to web broadcast hyper-linking technology licensed to NBC called CueTV.
